For the purpose of professional development within the Erasmus+ mobility program, Associate Professor Dr. Mirna Velki, Vanda Zahirović, Senior Advisor, and Željko Zahirović, Senior Advisor, stayed in Burdur, Turkey, from June 11 to June 21, 2025. The professional training was carried out at the Faculty of Science and Art at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and focused on deepening knowledge and developing skills in the field of environmental monitoring of aquatic systems and fish ecology. During the training, methods used in environmental monitoring were presented. In addition to the professional aspect, the mobility served as a platform for knowledge and experience exchange between researchers from both institutions, leading to the initiation of joint research projects, preparation of scientific publications, and the establishment of more permanent forms of scientific networking.
