As part of the Erasmus BIP mobility, I had the opportunity to participate in the program “Biomolecular Horizons: Building a Sustainable Future in Life Sciences” at the University of Alexandru Ioan Cuza in Iași, Romania. The program included lectures and laboratory exercises in the fields of molecular biology, biotechnology, and bioanalytical methods, focusing on topics such as DNA barcoding in species identification, antimicrobial resistance, and the application of mass spectrometry in biomolecular research. In addition to the academic component, the mobility also offered cultural activities such as a city tour and a visit to the Botanical Garden, which provided insight into Romanian culture and the chance to exchange experiences with colleagues from other European countries. Participation in this program greatly contributed to my professional development, intercultural skills, and international networking.
