As part of the Erasmus+ mobility programme, Mirna Velki, PhD, professor, completed a professional training in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, from 26th November to 5th December 2025. The training was conducted at the Hygiene-Institut des Ruhrgebiets in Gelsenkirchen, Germany – Institute for Environmental Hygiene and Toxicology, and focused on the fields of ecotoxicology and environmental sciences, with particular emphasis on the application of methods for assessing the effects of environmental pollutants on various model organisms. In addition to the professional training, the mobility enabled the exchange of expert knowledge and experience and stimulated initiatives for future collaborations and joint research projects.
