Alumni BiolOs activities
Since the beginning of 2019, Alumni BiolOs has organised a series of workshops and lectures for our members. The goal is to educate teachers, professors, researchers and other alumni about research and activities carried out at the Department of Biology and related institutions, which could help them in their further work and professional development. Alumni are also active in environmental actions and projects.
Adapted to current epidemiological circumstances, Alumni BiolOs in 2021 organises online lectures by alumni and other experts with topics of interest to members and students. Topics include scientific research by experts, but also popular lectures on current topics in biology and related fields.
Alumni BiolOs publishes the activities of its alumni employed in various institutions, companies and organizations and active in the community through a newsletter. The aim is to promote the success of our alumni, improve their visibility and strengthen the interconnectedness and cooperation of all generations, to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience through active participation in professional, educational and research activities. The desire is also to attract new students and interest them in the study of biology, and at the same time introduce potential employers to the skills profile of our graduates and thus facilitate their access to the labour market.
Alumni BiolOs Newsletter will also inform all interested parties about education programs and current research in the Department of Biology and enable networking with new partners in future projects and organization of joint activities.
We invite you to get involved in creating the Alumni BiolOs Newsletter. You can send the information about your activities (published scientific and professional papers, conference presentations, organization and implementation of workshops, actions and projects, mentoring student competitions…), as well as suggestions or comments to our e-mail: email@example.com.
And keep following our work…
